And that is not the only attraction; another magnet force of Canada is its large stretched natural and cultural environment. There are many coaching centers in India helping students with test preparation to study abroad.
The education system in Canada is a provincial system taken care of by the Canadian government, i.e. there is quite a difference between the education system of different provinces, though common high standard is maintained throughout the country.
In total, Canada has 73 universities plus 180 community colleges, if one wishes to pursue a degree course then one can go for admission in university in Canada, the colleges on the other hand provide diploma courses for 2 – 3 years of duration. There is a wide range of colleges and the courses offered by them which are –
- University of Alberta – early education in childhood, biotech in plant, forestry and law.
- University of Calgary – programs in environment and resource, marine science, general arts, business and management, medicine, architecture, computer science, music and fine arts and social work.
- University of Lethbridge – inter disciplinary courses and multi disciplinary major, women’s studies, studies in urban and regional subjects, science, arts, management, engineering etc.
- University of Northern British Columbia – natural resource management course, it has limited seats for enrollment in any of its programs and students coming from international destinations have to pay 1.75 times more than the regular fees.
- Simon Fraser University – communication, applied mathematics, business administration and the study of human body parts i.e. kinesiology.
- Nova Scotia College – degree courses in fine arts, design and ceramics. This college happens to be the best college in the entire North America for its fine art courses.

Forestry $111.53 Forestry is the art and science of managing forests, tree plantations, and related natural resources. The main goal of forestry is to create and implement systems that allow forests to continue a sustainable continuation of environmental supplies and services. The challenge of forestry is to create systems that are socially accepted while sustaining the resource and any other other resourses that might be affected. Silviculture, a related science, involves the growing and tending of trees and forests. Modern forestry generally concerns itself with: assisting forests to provide timber as raw material for wood products; wildlife habitat; natural water quality management; recreation; landscape and community protection; employment; aesthetically appealing landscapes; biodiversity management; watershed management; erosion control; and a sink for atmospheric carbon dioxide. A practitioner of forestry is known as a forester. Note that the word forestry can also refer to a forest itself. Forest ecosystems have come to be seen as the most important component of the biosphere, and forestry has emerged as a vital field of science, applied art, and technology. Forestry in Bhutan $78.07 Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. One of Bhutans significant natural resources in the late twentieth century was its rich forests and natural vegetation. Bhutans location in the eastern Himalayas, with its subtropical plains and alpine terrain, gives it more rainfall than its neighbors to the west, a factor greatly facilitating forest growth. The forests contain numerous deciduous and evergreen species, ranging from tropical hardwoods to predominantly oak and pine forests. The small population and the general absence of overdevelopment in Bhutan contributed to forest preservation. Because of the terrain, the more accessible forests had been overcut whereas remote forests remained largely in their natural state. A progressive governmentsponsored forestry conservation policy strove to balance revenue needs with ecological considerations, water management, and soil preservation. Success in managing its forest resources had long been critical to the local environment and economy and also affected downstream floodplains in India and Bangladesh. Sustainability of Community Forestry in Nepal $93.99 Sustainabe development as a concept and goal has been widely accepted for the management of forest and other natural resources. It is often argued that forest management in Nepal has become more complex when management objectives and management responsibilities were shifted from dominant forest products by government to diversified products by people. The management complexity is being materialized by implementing community forest operational plan which is a legal and technical document prepared by local forest user group with technical support from forestry professional. It is hypothesized that if the plan is implemented properly the shortterm forest management objectives can be achieved thus leading to sustainability of the system. Overall sustainability index (OSI) from sustainability indices of individual criterion (SIIe from four case studies of midmountain community forests show that community forestry in Nepal is fairly sustainable. The Rise of Aboriginal Forestry in Canada $134.33 In the last three decades, forestry has emerged as a new practice among Aboriginal communities in Canada to provide them with economic development. Without a historical perspective of the interrelatedness between Aboriginal communities and mainstream Canadian society, the implications of Aboriginal forestry cannot be analyzed. This book, therefore, examines changes in mainstream society that have impacted Aboriginal communities, such as Canadian resourcedependent economy, Aboriginal and treaty rights, and environmentalism. Also, burning practices in Canada, sacred groves of India, and Japanese mountain landscapes are reviewed to show how people with close connection to their environment have developed a unique perspective of forests. The latter part of this book analyzes how the Little Red River Cree Nation in Alberta has developed forestry in cooperation with governments and forest companies in order to advance their interests and assert their cultural values. The analysis should be useful for scholars in the field of forest management involving Aboriginal communities, for First Nations policy analysis, and for anyone who has an interest in the humanenvironment relationship. Community Forestry in Nepal $95.59 Community Forestry (CF) in Nepal represents arguably the most advanced and progressive model worldwide for the participatory management of natural resources. Given the importance of CF resources, we have surprisingly little empirically based knowledge on absolute and relative importance of CF income generated to the households and the influencing factors for their participation on resource management. Therefore, this book attempts to fill this gap using the primary data collected through household survey and analysed using both descriptive and inferential statistics. Findings suggest that CF income contributed an average of 7.4 of the total household income, which is equal to 56 of the total forest income. Level of participation on forest management and their dependence on CF resources are influenced by several social, economic and biophysical factors. The results and arguments presented in this book are imperative to the policy makers and will also be of interest to students and professionals working in the sector of natural resource management, or else who have interest on socioeconomic issues of CF in Nepal. Multi Criteria Evaluation (McE) and GIS in Forestry $93.99 MULTI CRITERIA EVALUATION (MCE) AND GIS IN FORESTRY is a forestry books that illustrates a decision making process using geospatial science. Forest resource planning and harvesting is a very complex problem mainly due to the multiplicity criteria involved in the underlying decisionmaking process. Thus, every decision made affects criteria of different nature such as economic issues and environmental issues. Thus, modeling is used as a research and management tool to examine spatial temporal processes such as resource harvesting. This book is designed to determine the allowable forest harvest area. Multi Criteria Evaluation (MCE) and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) were performed in order to achieve the objective. A forest area suitability system was developed in order to determine the spatial distribution and extent of suitable area for forest harvesting. Using cartographical modeling approaches in a GIS, harvest suitability zones were determined and mapped. The approaches would not only assist in the forest harvest planning but could improve the overall effectiveness of the logging operation and forest management practices.
