Winter tires – excellent means in cold climate conditions
Believe it or not, we already have different tires for each season. No more chains in the winter, no more erased tires in the summer, no more problems with the wet travelling pavements of the spring and fall – this is what the different categories of tires can offer. Virtually, there is a type that responds for the excellent implementation of the vehicle when the road is unpleasantly uneven and muddy, even if we need to drive with overloaded luggage. All those superlatives impress, but what is more important is that they contribute for better chauffeuring. Indebt to all those types of tires, the car crashes are less. As far as we are concerned, there is a category of them, which amazed utmost, the winter one. I am sure that each person knows how hard the driving is when the travelling pavements are covered by ice, snow or other slippery particles. What the winter tire has achieved is an excellent performance on those unpleasant surfaces. So in this sense, I am prone to expose the features of the snow tires in the next paragraphs below.
Years ago, the only way to chauffeur stable on icy or snowy road surfaces, was the use of chains. Although we were able to use them, there was a restriction of their ability to make our car steady only if we drive below thirty kilometers per hour. Now, with the invention of the winter tires, this was changed. The implementation of the winter tires is quite better. Moreover, speeds above 50 km/h are possible but not recommendable. The point is that, when using the winter tires, we will be able to feel sure on the slippery highways and roads. Even the thought that we are with winter tires will calm us and bring enormous confidence in our reactions behind the wheel. Also, when we start the engine of the car, we will be convicted by the steadiness of the first meters that there isn’t anything to be afraid of. To be honest, this is true even though it looks unbelievable to drive so perfectly without any sliding on the road with surfaces covered by ice and snow.
This magnificent cohesion on slippery surface conditions is attained by special technology, used in the producing of the grippers of the winter tire. First of all, the materials, which are used for this manufacturing, are consisted of soft stud fibers. Those fibers redound for the excellent adhesion. You might not know, but the softer the tread is, the higher the traction will be. The superior silica based technology and the design of the grabs help for extra cohesion too.
