Why locomotive leasing and sales for railaway
In the railroad industry, decision for locomotive leasing is not merely a statistical formality. Quick changes in the market conditions that is related to the season sensitive agriculture products or extreme patterns of weather might result in severe shortages in the requirement of high power equipment. If the railroad is not able to meet the necessary requirements, then they have to rely on locomotives for sale or lease as an alternative. locomotive lease market is therefore, driven entirely on these critical conditions and therefore, can prove to be quite unsatisfactory.
Why railroads lease locomotives?
Another reason for locomotive leasing is that the locomotives lying with the railroads are deemed practically unfit for running and would consume much time and also expensive rehabilitation. Investing in them would also not be quite feasible and would be tough to justify them as they are quite expensive and might not be reliable. It could also be somewhat difficult for the railroad to justify in investing the required resources for restoring the units to complete service status for addressing the short term demands. This is why the rail roads are interested on locomotives for sale or lease.
Why prefer to lease instead of purchasing new ones
Latest edition locomotive models are being manufactured by GE and GM to offer the latest improvements and train propulsion with much reduced consumption of fuel. However, these are quite expensive and put heavy stress on the financial investments. This is why the rail roads depend on reliable locomotive leasing companies for providing short term and long term high power equipments. Some of the leasing packages comprise of periodic maintenance and servicing support. Also the locomotive contractor company needs to be technically and economically willing and capable of providing equipments that are in Good Condition for being leased out.

The Image of Agriculture Education $180.02 This study examines agricultural education in Botswana among students and teachers. Since independence in 1966 to the present time, agricultural production has declined from about 40 percent to about 3 percent. Harsh climatic conditions and a general ignorance about agriculture contribute to the restricted perception of agriculture and careers in this field. Individual and focus group interviews were conducted with agricultural teachers who had resigned and former graduates in four secondary schools and three postsecondary educational institutions (Botswana College of Agriculture, University of Botswana, and Tonota College of Education). Negative, positive and mixed images emerged that revealed some similar and some contradictory perceptions of agriculture education. The attrition of teachers also attracted attention because of their working conditions and their images of agricultural teaching. However, the phenomenon of teacher attrition is not unique to agriculture. Students and teachers had conflicting images concerning curriculum instruction..
